Ferrari Specialità Alimentari was officially founded in 1998 but its roots date back much earlier, thanks to my great-grandfather Giovanni Ferrari, from Liguria, who began his entrepreneurial activity with the trade of Ligurian olive oil in Piedmont.

After moving to Piedmont for logistical reasons, it was my grandfather Mariano's turn to play a very important role in expanding distribution through his great commercial skills. In addition, my grandfather was a chemistry enthusiast with an uncommon curiosity: he therefore decided to buy some olive groves in the province of Imperia, in Ranzo, and make quality his distinctive element. Passion that he passed on to his sons Massimo and Giovanni who continue with great dedication increasing the number of private customers and increasingly reaching the tables of important restaurants.

At this point, bearers of a quality brand and strong of a knowledge rooted in the territory of the Langhe, in Piedmont, we see the opportunity to integrate the offer of our typical Ligurian products with those of Piedmont including tajarin, bagna cauda or cugnà; maintaining the same approach: exploit the strength of our lands with high quality ingredients such as the Alba truffle or the Cervere leek.

We are now in the fourth generation, with the same passion and pride, eager to carry on the traditions that our parents and grandparents before us have created with great care.
